Rockbusters has teamed up with world-class athlete Klemen Bečan to help you climb BETTER and HARDER. This camp is meticulously designed for those seeking a major breakthrough in their technical proficiency, mental resilience, and physical grade. There is no more effective way to progress than by immersing yourself in a community of driven climbers, supported by elite coaches and professional guides led by one of the sport’s most accomplished icons. Our team ensures a personalized experience for every participant, utilizing intensive one-on-one sessions at the crag alongside professional video recording and performance analysis.
This performance and mental coaching program is hosted in Rodellar—one of the planet’s premier sport climbing destinations and a flagship Rockbusters location. Located in the heart of Spain, Rodellar is a tufa-climbing wonderland, offering the perfect environment for both a relaxed climbing holiday and a serious push toward a new personal best. Throughout this two-week event, we welcome motivated climbers of all levels, from those just starting their outdoor journey to seasoned experts. With two dedicated coaches on hand, we tailor our instruction to fit your specific needs and ambitions.
We chose Rodellar as the base for Klemen’s workshop to ensure that every participant—regardless of their starting point—can elevate their climbing to the next level. As a world-renowned climbing mecca in Aragon, Spain, Rodellar provides world-class tufa lines and steep limestone that challenge your technique and stamina. The Klemen Bečan Sport Climbing Performance Workshop utilizes the classic Rockbusters “masterclass” format. With Klemen as head coach, our team focuses on maximizing your vertical mileage while providing elite-level insights. You will spend the vast majority of your time active on the rock, supplemented by informal, high-value technical talks.
Klemen’s coaching philosophy centers on precision footwork, body tension, and the mental frameworks that support long-term physical development. Whether you are an emerging climber or an experienced veteran, analyzing your unique movement patterns will provide an immediate boost to your ability and help you crush existing plateaus.
Regardless of your current grade, having ample time to apply these new techniques will transform your confidence. After just one week, you will return home with a significantly advanced toolkit. This workshop is designed to let you learn directly from the best, using proven professional methods to accelerate your progression.
Here is what you can expect to master:
Slab and Vertical Terrain
With a heavy focus on footwork, you will learn to master balance and find the most energy-efficient ways to move upward. You will learn the nuances of friction, delicate weight transfers, and how to calculate complex technical sequences.
Overhang Techniques
Develop the athletic skills required for steep, physical terrain. We cover specialized footwork including drop knees, heel hooks, and toe hooks. Significant time is dedicated to the art of resting mid-route and managing “the pump” both physically and psychologically.
On-sight vs Red-Point Strategies
Sending a route first try requires a different mindset and physical approach than long-term projecting. Klemen Bečan teaches the most effective strategies for success in both disciplines, providing you with the time and space to internalize these professional tactics.
Beyond the gains in strength and skill, this is a Rockbusters trip—which means a high-energy, fun social atmosphere is guaranteed! We are passionate about the climbing lifestyle and that enthusiasm defines every program we run. We believe in working hard on the rock and enjoying the community off it. Our famous “informal” vibe ensures you have a blast while making serious strides in your climbing career.
